Breakfast idea
Summer is coming soon, and its important to bring fruits and greens back into your diet, (I know how tempting it is to spend winter with comfort foods like pasta & friends lol) so here is a breakfast idea brought from a french magazine I love called “femme actuelle”, luckily I speak french as well so I translated this for you
Don’t know how to make a mango jam? it’s pretty simple : Ingredients:
• 8 Ripe Mangoes
• 4 Cups water
• 2 Cloves
• 1 Cinnamon
• 2 tsp Vanilla
How to make Mango Jam:
• Peel and cut mangoes.
• Heat water and add peeled mangoes, cinnamon and cloves in it. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
• Mix sugar and cook till the mixture turns thick.
• Add vanilla and mix it well.
• Add sweetener if not sweet enough for your taste
• Mango Jam is ready.
Now you can apply the same “model” to any fruit you want that you can turn into a puree, jam, like Apples, raspberries, banana, blueberries, strawberries etc. How easy is that!
